BIG DIAMOND RACEWAY RACE REPORT

Diamond Nationals this weekend

Doug will be competing on both days of the Diamond Nationals being held at Big Diamond Raceway this weekend.

Manmiller will pilot Roger Updegrove's #00 machine in Saturday's 50-lap big-block Modified contest. The following day Doug will wheel the familiar blue and silver #1 machine that he has been running at Big Diamond for the last 1/4 of the season at BDR.
 

GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY RACE REPORT

Manmiller finishes second in Freedom 76

The most prestigious event on the calendar at Grandview Speedway is the Freedom 76, paying $20K to the winning driver. That event was held on Saturday night.

Doug Manmiller started twelfth in the 34-car field of Modifieds and cracked the top five on lap 21 of the 76-lap contest.

Manmiller remained consistent throughout the race and resulted in a career best second place in the race.

The second place finish for Doug brought home $10K for the Breitenstein Motorsports team.
