Welcome to
DougManmiller.com for the 2008 racing season! Doug will have another busy
racing schedule driving for three different owners throughout the course
of the year. Doug has joined forces with Wink Motorsports this season and
will pilot a #00 TEO Small-Block Modified at Big Diamond Raceway on Friday
nights. He will also drive a #14 Dirt Wheels Small-Block Modified for
Breitenstein Motorsports at Grandview Speedway on Saturday evenings. Plus,
in
addition to his busy weekend schedule, Doug will also twist the wheel of
Roger Updegrove's #00 Big-Block Modified at selected tracks throughout the
season. See you all in victory lane!

The Handler and
Dick Biever team up for 2009 at BDR
The
owner of one of the most potent race teams has teamed up with Doug
Manmiller for 2009 at Big Diamond Raceway. Dick Biever, the owner of the
Alpha Mills #14 machines, has hired Manmiller for the Friday night
assault. Manmiller replaces current driver Rick Laubach in the car, but
for Big Diamond only. Laubach will continue to wheel the #14
big-block Modified next season for Biever. Manmiller is excited about the
upcoming opportunity to race for such a high-profile race team. "I'm glad
to have gotten something going early for next year so we have time to work
on things and get ready for opening day at Big Diamond." Manmiller looks
to improve on his very respectful 3rd place finish in the point standings
in 2008.
